BACK FROM CAMP!

I'm ba-ack! ^^

God, it's so boring now, without any of my friends constantly with me >< oh well, at least I'm back at my computer now (i realise how sad that is ><). I won't go into detail because I can't be bothered, but most of the camp was quite fun, except for the museum; the only interesting stuff there were the necklaces made of shells.

Anyhoo... on the way there, I was sitting next to Kwish and it was quite fun and on the way back I was sitting next to Sarah, who wanted to talk sometime >< You see, they let us bring our discmans/whatever else. I took my MD and when I have my earphones in my ears, it generally means that I DON'T WANT TO TALK!! -_-

*sigh* oh well. Tomorrow I have to go to Jodie's house to have a Tournament of Minds meeting. We're really behind at the moment so we need to get our act together. We only have two weeks and we haven't even finished the script!!!

I'll not say anymore, just in case people from other teams read this or something <_<

lol, anyways... I really need to get my fic up... I think I'll do that now. Uh-huh... *nods*

Ooh, and I'm going to Japan with Kwish in six more weeks! ^^

A Long Post! Yay! ^^

I am yet to write a nice, long entry so here’s an attempt at that. For the moment; more on the fanlisting stuff:

I joined a few more fanlistings today and I reckon I should really start to put them all in categories because from the Bakura fanlisting codes to the Princess Zelda one, they’re all in alphabetical order, but after that, they’re just in the order in which I joined them. *sigh* I should really be bothered to organise it better…

Ooh, a mini-celebration thing: yesterday we got our poetry exams back and I got 90%!! Which is great because I was expecting to barely pass!! I am so proud of myself!! ^___^

Today was a really weird day; especially after sport. We have sport near the station, but me and Graves usually walk back to school because neither of us have train passes and we have bus passes so it’s free if we take a bus from school and our bus usually comes a minute or so after we arrive at school. The problem today, though, was that we somehow lost time somewhere and we were half-way up the road towards school when we saw our bus arrive at school. We ran, but me and my bad stamina… heh… -_- Needless to say, we missed our bus. We stayed at school for about a minute and decided to walk to the other station, which was easier to walk to because it was all downhill. Of course, we missed that train too, so we were stuck at the station for half an hour or more waiting for the next one. It started to rain, though, so that was cool, because both of us like the rain ^^ So yeah, it ended up just like a normal school day, and we ended up taking the bus we would usually take >< Also, on the way home, there’s a round-a-bout in the T-junction where my street joins the main-ish road, and there was a cute little dog running about across the road and stuff. I slowed down so I could watch it and it ran onto the road and stopped in the middle of the left-lane. This lady in a van/jeep (can’t exactly remember at the moment ><) was coming out of my street and she was looking backwards for some reason and she didn’t see the dog. She turned and then so luckily, saw it and stopped straight away. I felt so relieved. I was about to cry because I thought the dog would be run over. She stopped and the dog sniffed at the car and as she drove away once she knew the dog was out of the way, it began to run after her car!! It was so cute, but I was hell scared for the dog’s safety. I just stood there, watching it until it went back onto the path. I wanted to coax the dog over to the path while it was standing in the middle of the road, but I decided not to because a running dog, I believe, it more difficult to avoid than a still one.

Oh well, the dog’s safe. That’s all that matters ^^;

Yeah, if you can’t tell, I love dogs ^^

Speaking of which, I should find a dog fanlisting or something, heh ^^; *dodges thrown sharp objects and other things worth dodging*

Yes, I went on yet another fanlisting spree i can't help it... it gets addictive!!! But now my codes are in serious need for order, because I have a manga coupling code next to a Blink 182 song code, which really doesn't make sense at all!! and i also want to put alternative text, because if no one else, it will amuse me to make my mouse hover over the pics and make the pics say something...

Ah, anyways... I have tuition tomorrow >< I hate tuition!! :cry: Stupid homework... *grumble*

yes, I am using a lot of smilies in this post. Quite sad, but again, self-amusing. Speaking of amusing, I went to this site called I-Sketch or something along those lines. It's like an online pictionary game. IT'S SO FUN!!! Hehe. I really have a thing for time-wasting games...

I went on yet another fanlisting expedition. This time I only joined five fanlistings, but it was fun ^^

I seem to have gone on a bout of Pokemon-fan-ness. AND I FOUND A FANLISTING FOR EDS!! *is veeeeery happeeeeeeeeeeee*

Gah, it's about 11:10pm now... I have no designated bed-time, but I should be told to go to bed sometime soon >< Augh, it's Sunday night... >< that means I have school tomorrow... ><

Oh well, at least I shall see my friends tomorrow!!

Speaking of seeing friends, Kwish made it into James Ruse High... which is like, the best school here!! She's so smart... but... that means.... that... SHE'S GOING TO LEAVE NEXT YEAR!!

Oh well, at least Miranda's also going to go with her, but... KWISH IS LIKE, MY BEST BUDDIE!!! It's gonna be like losing a part of myself...

Man, just thinking about it is quite depressing...

Oh well, we have to savour the moments we have together now and make sure that we remain friends, no matter how far apart our schools may be! There's still msn! And phones! And holidays, in which we can meet up!!! *nods rapidly* and she's not gone YET!!

Hoy,

I know... this is probably pointless, mean and/or anything else bad, but I really feel like writing about this........ >>

Okay, ever since year 7, i've been involved in this thing called "Tournament of Minds". For all of you who have never heard of it, it's not as geeky as it probably sounds. We get a long-term problem from the three topics 'Maths & Engineering', 'Social Science' and 'Language Literature' and we pick one and then we have to form groups of 7 (with two year 7's in each team) and solve the problem that we chose by discussing it among the group, making a script and then eventually performing a play. Quite a few schools participate in it and we have to perform at a university in front of a panel of three judges and stuff.....

Anyways, our school, like every year, has two teams. I'm in the Social Science one with Hong, Shashini, Achini, Jodie and two year 7's. The Language Literature team features Zara, Graves, Tarik, Vonne, Sahu and two year 7's. Our team is going quite fine. That's not what I'm writing about. It's the Language Literature. Yeah, I know that it's not my team and I shouldn't give a stuff about what they're doing because it doesn't affect me, but it seems that I have been dragged into a battle between Zara and Tarik; by both of them!

It's really frustrating... I'll write out what I have gathered from both side's bitchings. (sorry if that language offends anyone...) I'll attempt to write this out in chronological order... :

- Tarik hasn't exactly been on Zara's good side since year 7 when someone hacked into his msn account and started being really mean to Zara.

- (now, a huge step, three years from then...) Zara has this habit of being really dominant in a team. I saw it last year when she was dominating our group, when last year she and I were in the same Tournament of Minds group.

- Zara said that she is going to write the script and she did, with Graves (read my theory at the end of the entry to understand why I think she wrote it with Graves)

- The rest of the team liked it, but not as much as they really should...

- Tarik (and I think Vonne too) offered to fix up the script, which he/they did

- Zara got pissed at the new script (keep in mind she usually believes that no one is right apart from hers) and said that it was completely off the plot

- To make Zara's temper even worse, the rest of the team seemed to like Tarik (and Vonne's?) script better that Zara's

- Zara said that she will rewrite the script and she dropped out of a $110 Tennis Tournament to do so

- Tarik knew that Zara would just simply change her own script a little and submit it as a completely new script so he wrote one himself

- Zara got pissed when she found out that Tarik wrote another script and says that one was wrong

- The rest of the team, again, likes the Tarik script better because it has ideas from the entire team in it, but Zara's only has hers and a bit of Graves's (even though she did claim that it also included some of the rest of the team's ideas, Graves said it didn't when I asked him

- Zara's threatening to drop out of the team because even if they lose points, the rest of the teams will be the ones suffering, not her (but I personally doubt that she will drop out because I believe she likes Tournament of Minds too much to)

- Tarik and the rest of the team were bitching about and teasing Zara when she wasn't there and they also realised the "Tarik script"was kinda wrong...

And yeah... that's where we end it so far.

Well... Graves and I agree that Zara is kinda control-freakish... but it's not like it's a bad thing!! I'm a control freak too >< it's just that... she doesn't like other people to have a say....... i dunno... i can't explain it really.... (in times like these, you need Graves to translate your brain's workings into English!!)

Anyways, here's my theory about Zara and guys:

She likes attention... A LOT. So to write a script, she picks the guy who gives her the most attention and writes the script with him. That's what she's done this and last year. I think that she assumes that with all the positive attention, they'll agree to anything she says or does... I know it sounds real critical, but I believe it's the truth.

*sigh* anyways.... I'll be off doing something or the other... (possibly even looking up more fanlistings!)

Hello. Yet another day closer to the Tournament of Minds performance >< I do NOT feel properly prepared for this! And it’s my last year! Hong and I promised each other we would go out with a bang! But it seems more like a fizzle now…

AND WHAT IS WITH THE WEATHER?!?!

It feels like Summer and Winter isn’t even over yet!!

Not that I’m complaining…. I like Summer

Anyways….. yeah, I’m not looking forward to Sunday when we have to perform. I still haven’t remembered my lines! And it’s not just me! It’s everyone else too! We seriously did not get enough time this year! I think we got at least two weeks less that we should have!!!

*gives Mr Kaplinski the dirties*

I can't believe it!!! We won the district Tournament of Minds competition!! Woohoo!!! ^____^

Now we get to go on to the next stage ^^v

this is like, so cool! 'Cos this is the last year I'm allowed to do TOM because year 11 and 12 can't participate and me and Hongie promised each other that we'd come first AND WE DID!!

It's so... exhilirating to know that we've beaten 20 or 30 something schools!! Go our Squishi and Adam In-Sane! Kudos to Jodie's alien voice :D

And I get to be Lee the tree freak again if we have to do our play again!! Woohoo!! I love my character!! ^-^ I seem to always get the environmentalist character. I did so in yr 8 as well but i'm not complaining! They're so much fun to play!

Anyways, I have to go STUDY now....
