here's to another pathetic attempt at activity on this blog. what did the last entry say about me? Nothing except for the fact that I've been inactive fore the past three months on this blog and ooh I see pretty new buttons.
There's actually a lot more than that behind my life, sad as it is- it's not that sad
I mean, for one, my birthday passed. It was a week and a day ago. I was rather happy with my presents, albeit a very guilt, very spoilt only child XD
From my mum I got a 20G iPod. I've named it Amy, after Amy Lee the lead singer of Evanescence, who is my idol. It's really cool, but I need something to protect it from evil scratches and fingerprints!! XO
I was considering an iPod sock. I mean, they're colourful and come in pink. I was originally after a pink mini iPod (but hey, a 20G one is a pretty good compromise, if i could even call it that). So I guess Amy can be pink after all. Just white underneath XD I just hope I can find one. It's so irritating when you finally decide upon buying something, after a long time of self-debate and it's not there TT_TT I'll go a-hunting this Saturday after lunch for one.
I'm also considering a dock for my iPod. However,
I don't know how far it'd reach seeing that my cable doesn't seem to be
very my-computer-desk friendly and I think that all the dock does is
connect to the cable that initially went into the bottom of Amy. I
could put it under the table, maybe... like how I'm putting the cable
at the moment, but that means it lives either on my subwoofer or my
scanner's shelf, which kind of sucks. I'd be fine with putting it on
the scanner's shelf, I suppose... but sometimes I scan stuff from
documents that are bigger than A4... like my maths book, where my
drawings all happen to appear in... *angelic smile*
I also got a PSP from my dad. He got it shipped over from Japan, plus a game called "Ridge Racers" also from Japan and "Ape Escape" from the US. Man I felt extremely spoilt on my b'day. Hell, I still do!
Nice knowing my parents love me that much, though ^^;
Anyways, I'll be going... I have sleep to catch up on.
take care of yourself until I get bored again

Mood: cynical...? maybe...

ah well...
I'm hosting Minako, the 1/2 Brazilian 1/2 Japanese one... I recall meeting her in Japan (very vaguely... you know what my memory's like when it comes to people... -_-) so yeah... she was nice... but then... all people in Japan were nice 'cos we were the **exchange students** who didn't know a thing, etc etc. I wonder if it was all sincere niceness or if it was the fake kind that people use just to make people feel more secure... *ponders* ... *is too lazy to ponder*
It's not exactly a school-organised thing, we just get the tickets and we get to go on Good Friday!
Some of them are familiar from last year when I went over, such as Ayano ^^; I'm hosting someone I saw as familiar from last year too. Her name is Minako (i think!) otherwise known as "the brazillian one"
